Bowie StreetReach

BowieStreetReach At Mt. Oak, we believe that God has called us to make disciples of all people — beginning with those who live in our neighborhood.  We reach out to our own city through a ministry called “Bowie StreetReach” in which we help people with their yard work.  We specialize in tackling those jobs that have gotten a little out of hand. Every summer we host a local mission trip where young and old alike spend a week reaching out to the residents of Bowie through practical acts of service, sharing the love of Jesus Christ, and beautifying our community one yard at a time.  In the process, we have an absolute BLAST! — good food, fun, games, movie nights, water fights, and building new friendships that last a lifetime. StreetReach1 StreetReach is a great way for youth to earn at least 40 hours of community service.  This year’s dates for StreetReach are July 9 – July 15.  The cost includes all meals, travel, and housing.  For more information on Bowie StreetReach, or to SIGN UP, please click HERE.
