Men’s Ministry

Mt. Oak Men’s Ministry

Mt. Oak’s Men’s Ministry exists to help disciple and develop men to become all that God would have them to be. We believe that God is interested in reaching the whole family and that the biblical and spiritual head of the household is the man. Men have a vital role in leading themselves, and their families, to deeper relationships with Jesus and our Men’s Ministry aims to help men fulfill this calling.
In Men’s ministry, discipleship occurs through a number of different vehicles including bible studies, monthly fellowship meals/meetings and special events throughout the year.

Please come join us in any or all of the events we have scheduled for the year.  As we get closer to these events, more information will be described in the weekly church e-news and Sunday bulletin.

 Monday Night Bible Study

Each Monday at 7:30 pm Joe Neuenschwander leads a band of brothers in a bible study and discussion. The guys get together to develop friendships, biblical understanding, and to pray for each other and for each family. This group develops the biblical concept of iron sharpening iron through their open discussion and passion to see each other grow in their relationship with the Lord.

Monday Night Dinner or Saturday Morning Breakfast

The Men’s will either hold a dinner on the 3rd Monday at 6:30 pm or a breakfast on the 3rd Saturday at 8:30 am.  These provide the men of Mt Oak the opportunity to come together for great food, great fellowship, awesome worship and encouragement through a variety of home-grown local and regional speakers. The topics for these gatherings vary from the incredibly practical, with events like our own version of ‘Tool Time’, to the spiritual with challenging messages about God’s call on us to be the leaders in our homes.

Special Events

We have opportunity from time to time to reach out to the community through acts of service and as these projects become available more information will appear here, or on our churches’ events page.
