Easter, and the resurrection of Jesus, promise us a great hope, a hope that surpasses anything this world has to offer. But how are we to believe in it? Does faith mean knowing with certainty what science cannot prove? Or closing our eyes to every question and doubt? What if we want to believe, or are open to belief in Christ, but find ourselves with unanswered questions?
This week, Pastor Barnes encourages us to acknowledge our struggle to know who to trust, and then to take a second look at one of Jesus’ disciples who was famous for his doubt, and yet in the end, truly did believe. So, if you are seeking God, there is something in today’s message for you.
