Like many of you, I care about our country and our world, and yet talking about what I value the most isn’t always easy.
Last year I lost my father. We had the same major in college and shared many of the same values, and yet, even though we didn’t want it to, politics could be for us a wall that kept us from being as close as we might have wanted.
If you wrestle with some of the same types of things, then I invite you to listen to this week’s devotion. It is a meandering talk about what I used to think the world was like, how we got to the divided place where we are, and most importantly how I try to find a better way as a Christian.
You won’t relate to everything I say, but there might be something I share that can help you in your own journey.
