The parable of the sower (Luke 8:4-15) describes how seed grows on different types of soil. Jesus then interprets it for his disciples, saying the seed is the Word of God, and the types of soil are the ways different people respond to it. Pastor Merritt Edner calls us to regularly examine ourselves to see what type of soil we are, and to help with sowing the seed to others.
