It is not easy to miss the fact that our nation is often divided, confused, and uncertain about what the rules that govern sex should be. As a result, many Americans look, with either fear or hope, to the Supreme Court or Congress to give us direction. As Christians, however, we realize that the relational questions people are fighting over are also spiritual issues, but that does not save us from having struggles of our own. When should we emphasize right and wrong? When should we speak of grace? What would Jesus do?
This week’s message by Pastor Barnes challenges us to see the “big spiritual picture” by contrasting three approaches to sexual morality: the way of Pharisees, the way of vampires, and the way of Jesus. So, if your biggest concern is simply following Jesus, this is a message for you!
