Few things can sour a person’s faith more quickly than mixing Christianity and politics; and yet we cannot and should not separate the two entirely. In this week’s message, Pastor Barnes challenges us to think about:
1) Why politics can drive people from the faith
2) Why the Christian cannot entirely avoid politics, particularly in America
3) How we can keep our eyes on Heaven and our feet on the ground, when we are voting, or discussing our convictions with family and friends.
So, if you want to do a better job at keeping your spiritual priorities straight, or have been wounded by those who confused Caesar with Christ, this message may help you to put things together in the right way.
