Every third Sunday in June, much of America pauses to remember their fathers. This is a fine habit (That actually is in keeping with one of the Ten Commandments), but if “Father’s Day” is to go beyond hot dogs and ballgames, there is a question that must be answered. What does it mean to be a husband? a father? or even just a man? In today’s polarized and incoherent culture, these questions are not easily answered unless we are grounded in the word of God. So, join us for worship today, and a message that reinforces the truth that God created men to lead, to bless, to empower, and to serve. An order of worship with sermon notes and announcements may be found here.
Speaker: Rev. Robert Barnes
