If anything is more upsetting than politics, it is the way that faith and politics are often mixed. We walk on dangerous ground when we claim to know who God wants us to vote for, and even more dangerous ground when we speak as if those who vote otherwise are the enemies of God.
That said, as bad as the mixture of faith and politics can be, Christians cannot avoid mixing the two entirely. If we follow Christ, we want everything, even our voting to reflect the fact that we are his disciples. So how do we get it right? (or at least get it, “less wrong”)
For those of you who ask the hard questions, in today’s midweek message, Pastor Barnes will offer five reasons why Christians should try to apply their faith to their votes; along with some stern warnings about how to avoid taking things too far.
Speaker: Pastor Robert Barnes
