This talk is for mature followers of Jesus Christ and sincere seekers after Scriptural truth.
Like the Bible, the United Methodist Church, stipulates that God has created us all, Christ has died for everyone, and that therefore everyone is “of sacred worth”. That said we also adhere to Biblical moral understandings regarding marriage and sexuality. The question thus becomes, “What spiritual counsel should the church offer to people who are drawn to Christ but also experiencing same-sex attractions?”
The answers are not always clear, but this week Pastor Barnes offers reasons why, the church, and individual Christians alike, need to take this question very seriously. If the Gospel truly is for everyone, then we must try to share it with everyone who is interested.
