Earlier this week, my wife Linda posted a devotion on what real Biblical womanhood was like in which she referenced many of the lesser-known women of the Bible, who did big things. (She has written a study on this subject)
In response, I would like to share some similar thoughts for men; thoughts that address questions like these:
“How does a man ‘lead’ without being a dictator?”
“How is a husband supposed to treat his wife?”
“What does real Biblical manhood look like?”
“What is the ‘endgame’ of manhood, marriage and fatherhood?”
If you wrestle with these questions, or others like them, as you try to be “the best a man can get”, then listen to this week’s midweek message. You won’t find all the answers, but you may pick up a useful thought or two. And remember, the Word of God is sharper than a double-edged sword. It is also sharper than a Gillette razor blade.
