Coronavirus Update

For those of you have not heard, Governor Hogan has announced that as of Friday, May 15th at 5 pm, the state of Maryland will be entering Phase 1 of the Roadmap to Recovery and the stay-at-home order will be lifted. As each of us wrestles with what that means to us on an individual level, I would like to provide an update about the plans we have at Mount Oak Fellowship for the near and intermediate futures.

You may have heard of an ancient (and allegedly Chinese) curse which is translated into English, “May you live in interesting times”. The ironic point of this curse is that we crave excitement and change, but life is usually better in dull times when we experience peace and tranquility. “Interesting times” are usually troubled and uncertain.

Drive-in Service

During the time that the building must be closed due to the Maryland stay-at-home order, we will offer one drive-in service each Sunday morning. Church staff will direct parking.
